Concerts & Appearances

Alfreda Burke and Rod Dixon have presented secular and sacred recitals across the country. Their Community Concerts program was presented in 24 states in 2001. They have designed a Sacred music program that presents German Lieder, French Chansons, Italian art songs, Operatic arias, duets, American art songs, Spirituals, Hymns, Broadway music and popular music.

They weave biblical stories, scriptures and personal experiences from Television, appearances with Opera companies, Symphonies and Concerts into an evening filled with music and laughter.

These unique presentations provide opportunities to see:

  • How Alfreda Burke and Rod Dixon are able to find the presense of God in their professional environment.
  • How miracles continue to happen around their individual careers.
  • How they continue to find creative ways to present love, faith and hope.
  1. Experience the joy of Berg, Strauss, Schumann, Schubert, Duparc, Faure, Puccini, Verdi, Donizetti, Rossini, Mozart, Kern, Bernstein, Sondheim, Hall Johnson, H.T. Burleigh, Andre Crouch and many more.
  2. Witness the high notes and the low moments of their careers.
  3. Share with them as they sing about the Jazz and Blues of traveling.
